I´m Roman Grimm. Spare me a minute. I´m the owner of Sun Hill Hotel in Patong.

I built it. From the start, I used the finest materials including teak wood for the furniture and detailing throughout, and quality silks for the room finishings. It’s as good as I could make it. Then, I’m obsessive about maintenance. When something breaks, it’s fixed; signs of wear, it’s replaced.

Since we opened in 2000, I have managed every aspect of the hotel’s development and operations.

I realized early on that a hotel is not just about bricks and mortar but about ambiance, atmosphere and service; above all, service. We aim for an environment which is informal, sympathetic and relaxing. Our staff are schooled to be attentive but not intrusive and, of course, there’s always that charming Thai smile.

So you are free to come and go as you please; to do what you want, when you want. At day’s end, you will find Sun Hill Hotel a welcome, peaceful retreat from the relentless drumbeat which is the heart of Patong’s central hotel zone.
